Ingredients:

8 slices bread
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 pound bacon
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheese

Directions:
|
Mix eggs and milk together and add salt and pepper; set aside. Remove crusts from bread, and butter one side of each. Place butter side down in a greased 8x8 inch casserole dish. Cook bacon just until done. Place one layer of bacon on bread, and sprinkle 1/3 of the cheese on top. repeat layers of bread and bacon, but not cheese. Pour egg mixture on top. Cover and chill overnight. Cook at 350 for 30 minutes, or until done in the middle. Top with cheese, and return to the oven to melt.
